Ciara's Light Foundation
Ciara was an adventurous and loving girl who was kind to everyone she met. Despite the limits created by her having Dravet syndrome, she never complained and had an infectious positive attitude that inspired those around her - we call that Ciara's Light.

Ciara's Light Foundation

Ciara's Light Foundation was established in memory of 12 year old Ciara O'Driscoll who passed away on January 16, 2017 from SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death In Epilepsy) and Dravet syndrome.

Our mission is to provide services and opportunities which improve the quality of life for individuals and families afflicted with special needs and life threatening medical conditions.

We have established a Unified Dance Program at the Dance Workshop in Monroe, CT for the 2017-2018 school year; we will be offering a Camp Scholarship Program; and sponsoring a team of 12 hikers in the 2017 Make A Wish Foundation of CT's Trailblaze Challenge.

In the near future, we will be launching our Therapy Grants Program and collaborating with the Dravet Syndrome Foundation on the 2018 Family Medical Conference.
